Oxford street – Trendy Style

The heart of mainstream fashion in London, expect to find some of the biggest high-street brands and some of the trendiest residents in London. Oxford Street is home to the flagship store of Topshop, the biggest high street fashion retailer in England. But Oxford Street is not home to only British brands – any high street retailer worth their salt will have one if not more stores here so take a stroll and finds international high street fashion retailers like Mango, Gap, Zara, Bershka, and River Island. A stone’s throw away is Carnaby Street and Liberty, one of London’s most traditional stores. Venture inside and find a dazzling range of cutting-edge designs from Vivienne Westwood and the like. As the name suggests, trendy fashion areas like Oxford Street pertain to the trendiest fashionistas. The trendy guy or gal is always sporting the latest looks on the catwalk, be it ombre hair, mirrored sunglasses or double denim.

East London / Brick Lane – Hipster Style

A hipster’s paradise, some of the best vintage haunts can be found in East London and more precisely Brick Lane. As well as having some of the best second-hand bargains in London, these boutiques make fab economic sense and they help the environment too. Trying to define hipster style is a perennial endeavor that can lead to endless frustration. There are no rules – style is a mixture of 60s dresses, 80s Reebox and round sunglasses. Expect to see young hot millennials chilling out in artisan restaurants and funky, organic eateries.

Camben Town – Rock / Punk Style

London’s hotspot for punk and grunge style is nowhere else but Camden Town – lashings of black, leather and studs are commonplace here. In Camden Town, expect to find every kind of rock or punk style on sale – from Rolling Stones T-shorts to studded bracelets, to oversized Doc Martens. Glam punk or rock fashionistas can be found in bright pops of color, leather, spandex and leopard print whilst pop rock or punk fashionistas are likely to be sporting skinny jeans, band t-shirts and skater styles.
